Ενημέρωση για το ελληνικό μοντελιστικό κοινό εκ μέρους των διοργανωτών της διεθνούς έκθεσης Le Petit Soldat, η οποία λαμβάνει χώρα κάθε χρόνο στο Saint Vincent της Ιταλίας:

Η σημαντικότερη έκθεση της Ευρώπης είναι προ των πυλών. Η Le Petit Soldat (Saint Vincent) θα διεξαχθεί και φέτος στις 10-12 Οκτωβρίου στο Saint Vincent (Aosta).
Οπως πάντα ο διαγωνισμός θα έχει τις ακόλουθες κατηγορίες:

Φέτος προστίθενται και μερικές καινοτομίες
1ον: Νέα κατηγορία BASIC θα προστεθεί από το 2008. Είναι μια κατηγορία που απευθύνεται στους νεοεισελθόντες στο χόμπυ. Ουσιαστικά είναι κατηγορία αρχαρίων. Αυτή η κατηγορία δεν διαχωρίζεται σε painting και open. Και το βάψιμο και οι ιδιοκατασκευές θα διαγωνισθούν μαζί.
2ον: Νέα κατηγορία Glamour & Movies θα προστεθεί από το 2008. Τα έργα τα οποία αντλούν την θεματολογία τους από σκηνές glamour ή από κινηματογραφικές ταινίες θα εγγράφονται σε αυτή την κατηγορία. Δεν είναι κατηγορία Fantasy ούτε ιστορική κατηγορία. Σε αυτή την κατηγορία θα εγγράφονται και τα εκθέματα που επεικονίζουν σκηνές της Φύσης. Αγριοι Λέοντες έως και Δεινόσαυροι εγγράφονται σε αυτή την κατηγορία. Παράδειγμα: Ο Aragorn εγγράφεται σε αυτή την κατηγορία (Movies) ενώ ένα Orc από το LOTR όχι - εγγράφεται στην Fantasy όπως και η μονομαχία Aragorn - Orc.
3ον: Θεματική Κατηγορία - Υπήρχε παλαιότερα και επανέρχεται. Για φέτος το θέμα της θα είναι η Αόστα, οι Αλπινιστές και η ζωή στις Αλπεις από το 800 και μετά. Η θεματολογία θα πρέπει να προέρχεται από την τοπική ιστορία και τις παραδόσεις των Αλπεων με έμφαση στα Ορεινά Σώματα. Μόνο αυτά τα θέματα θα γίνουν δεκτά σε αυτή την κατηγορία.
4ον: Διαγωνισμός μέσα στην Star Class. Οι κρίσεις θα γίνουν από τους κριτές και τους συμμετέχοντες στην Star Class. Θα δοθούν ειδικά βραβεία.
5ον: SPEED PAINTING - Φέτος θα οργανωθεί αλλιώς. Το μπούστο της Pegaso (Landsknecht) θα βαφτεί από τους συμμετέχοντες χωρισμένους σε ομάδες. Οι διοργανωτές εκφράζουν τις ευχαριστίες τους στην Pegaso για την ευγενική χορηγία. Στο τέλος τα εκθέματα θα πουληθούν και τα έσοδα θα διατεθούν για φιλανθρωπικούς σκοπούς.

But this year we will have some news:
1st news BASIC is a new class that will be added to 2008 LPS show. It''s a category for the new entering people, for the new painter. This Class will be unique for painter and sculptor.
2nd news Glamour and movie it''s a new trophy reserved to the subject glamour and coming form the movies. They are not fantasy, they aren''t historical subjects but they fill our shelves in a good quantities. In this trophy (unique) modeller have to inscribe this kind of subjects.
Limit will be Mother Nature, she gives us beautiful woman and animals and men.
Real Animal from Dinosaurs to Lyons have to enter in this trophy.
An example : an Orc from LOTR cannot stay in this Trophy Aragorn himself can. The Orc or a fight between Aragorn and the Orc has to enter in fantasy class
3rd news a theme trophy is established. We had it in the past years and we want to be back hoping In a successful trophy. Theme for 2008 is
Aosta, the Alpini and the mountain since mid '800 up today.... between Alps traditions and local history, with special attention to mountain troops.
This trophy will accept only mountain subjects, military or civil, coming from the Alps environment since mid '800 up today
4th news a competition will be added inside the STAR CLASS. A judgement made by the judge and the Star themselves will give some additional prize ( very few...)
5th news SPEED painting will be organized better than last year, The PEGASO landsknecht bust ( thanks to Pegaso for the offer) will be panted by all the top level modeller divided in team. The painted busts will be sold at the end of the day and the money will be offered for beneficence.
