Hi guys, I have not posted for a while - school, exams and a motorcycle took up most of my time, so I have been unable to work on the A-7 for a while but now that that is all out of the way I should be able to make some more progress, so next time I post, I am hoping she will be near completion and I will be able to work on the F-4

I am afraid I have some bad news...

I have messed up the paint job on th plane as well as the decals, and it has come to the point where the detail in the plastic is lost... I would try and strip the paint, but the problem is that the cockpit is still good so I am unsure what to do. I feel like just tossing it, and restarting...

On top of that, I find that I have not been able to model for a while because other interests have kept me busy.

I would really like to get back to building, maybe I can do some this weekend, but for now the A-7 is at a stalemate and I'll just work to get the other project off the bench.

Hi Anthony.

I think that you should not toss it away... Cover the cokcpit area, with masking tape, and spray the plane, with a kind of oven cleaning spray. Leave it in a plastic bag for approx. 24h, and then wash it with soap and toothbrush. If there is still paint on the surfaces, repeat the procedure... It will come back to its starting point, and you can start all over again without damaging the cockpit...
