In Part 2 of the step by step build of Hasegawa''s 1/48 F-14D VF-31 Tomcatters we continue putting together the major parts of the kit.
We bring together the forward and aft fuselage making sure there are no gaps or step. Finish the intakes and wings with the flaps and slats in the down position.
Finally we paint the exhausts and make sure the plane is ready for the next stage of Painting!

We start with pre-shading of the model with grey and black.
Apply the standard US Navy three grey camouflage followed by panel weathering and overall weathering using the salt technique.
