Πριν λίγο καιρό δήλωσα συμετοχή στο πρωτάθλημα της επικεφαλίδας που θέμα έχει τα αυτοκίνητα που
αναφέρονται  στα 3 πρώτα μυθιστορήματα του B.S. Levy, The Last Open Road, Montezuma''s Ferrari, και Fabulous Trashwagon.Από αυτά έχω διαβάσει μόνο το πρώτο,πρόκειται για ¨Νόρα¨των αγώνων αυτοκινήτου που περιγράφουν αμερικάνικους αγώνες και αυτοκίνητα στις αρχές της δεκαετίας 1950-60.

Λάστιχα
Πίσω : 0.80" (20.32mm) ελάχιστη διάμετρος μέγιστο πλάτος 0,276" (7.25mm).
Εμπρός : 0.75" (19.05mm) ελάχιστη διάμετρος μέγιστο πλάτος 0,.276" (7.25mm).
Μόνο λάστιχο η πολυουρεθάνη.

Κατα τα λοιπά
-απόσταση απο την πίστα 3/32".
-ανοχή διαστάσεων 1/8"
-απόλυτο μέγιστο πλάτος 2,25"
-μέγιστη διάσταση από πλάι τροχού σε πλάι τροχού 2"

Ετοίμασα μια Ferrari 166 MM στην Κατηγορία 2,ίδια μ'αυτή που κερδισε στο Wolverhampton,η διαφορές τους είναι μοτέρ(Carrera E200),ζαντολάστιχα και απόσταση από έδαφος.

Αγώνας #1 Paramount Ranch








Μέτριο αποτέλεσμα,8η θέση,ίσως φταίει κακή επιλογη μοτέρ
 1 # 25  blue Jag with a completion of 74.4 laps and a fast time of 6.14 sec.
 2 #128 Cunningham did 72.85 laps for second while recording a fastest lap of 5.87 sec.
 3 #24  300SLR doing 72.80 laps (close!) weith a fastest lap of 5.87 also!
 4 #4 Lancia with 72.6 and running a 5.86!
 5 #23 the Ferrari doing 71.9 with a 6.13.
  6 #18, the autoArt C type going 71.7 laps with a 6.25 burst.
  7 #68  Ferrari coupe with 70.8 and a 6.19 sec. lap.
  8 #87  Ferrari 87 also tied at 70.8 but had a fast lap of 6.23, which broke the tie.
  9 #21 Ferrari number 21 with 69.6 laps and a 6.09 fastest lap.
10 #2   Allard at 69.3 laps turning a fast lap of 6.23 seconds.
11 # 5 ςηite and red Ferrari 166MM doing 68.6 laps with a 6.37 hot lap.
12 #35  the Concourse winning Maserati 300S getting 65.5 laps and a 6.73 sec lap.
13 #25  blue Jag 120 at 64.6 with a 6.23 (somethin' happened)
14 #42 Ferrari  with 61.4 laps and he turned a 6.47 hot lap.
15 #53 Cunningham going 59.8 laps with a fastest of 6.29.
16 #27 yellow Ferrari 166 Berlinetta coupe made 43.0 laps and struggled to a 7.91 fastest lap

Αγώνας ##5 Autodrome Sprints


Υπήρξε ένα μικρό ατύχημα που καθυστέρησε την διεξαγωγή του αγώνα.

Η αναφορά του αγώνα από τον Marek Placeki
Ηταν μια λαμπρή ημέρα,ο συναγωνισμός ήταν έντονος και η συμπεριφορά ήτανσυμπεριφορά κυρίων
Η μέρα ξεκίνησε με παρέλαση της στρατιωτικης μπάντας


που είχε σαν συνοδό την μασκωτ τους,διαμαντοστολιμσένη χελωνα


Η συνάντηση των οδηγών πρίν τον αγώνα πήγε καλά


ενώ οι ντόπιοι πιάσανε τις αγαπημενες τους θέσεις.


Ο αγώνας ξεκίνησε με δαιμονισμένο ρυθμό ενώ την ησυχία του αμπελιου Mennonite winery
τάραξε ο βροντερός ήχος της Allard


ενω μια Maserati περνούσε την φουρκέτα Penguin House Corkscrew παρ'όλα αυτα τίποτε δεν ενοχλούσε τον ύπνο του κυρίου στο παρκάκι

Στον τερματισμο η τοπική μπάντα χαιρέτισε μια επιτυχή εμφάνιση της Mercedes-Benz


ενώ οι ουραγοί έπρεπε να ανοίγουν δρόμο ανάμεσα στο πλήθος για να τερματίσουν


και οι τοπικοί "άγριοι" ήταν σε εγρήγορση γιατί είχαν δει την  τοπική Βασίλισα ομορφιάς Miss Hog Holler Cornwall 2012
να περνάει καβάλα

Αλέξη,το αυτοκινητο και ο οδηγός σου εθεάθησαν τελευταία να μιλανε με κάτι τύπους που παρουσιάστηκαν σαν μηχανικοί της Ferrari,τι μηχανικοί,ούτε φίλοι ήταν,παρ'όλα αυτά με ευγένεια,ωραιο τρόπο και σεβασμό τους έπεισα ν'αφήσουν το αυτοκινητο να φύγει.

Αγώνας #6 Killarney
Η πίστα είναι εμπνευσμένη από την ομώνυμη που βρίσκεται στο Killarney κοντά στο  Cape Town, Νότιο Αφρική

Και ταχύτερος γύρος,σύμφωνα με την αναφορά του αναδόχου έφυγε ένα κομμάτι βάρους ,λες αυτό να έκανε την διαφορά?

Εγινε και ο αγώνας,τα αποτελέσματα όχι και τόσο καλά,7η θέση


Σύμφωνα με τον οργανωτή στο αυτοκίνητό μου δεν άρεσε η εσωτερική γραμμή:
So what happened to Alexis car you ask? There are two or three corners on the track that can cause some cars problems that are not as apparent when doing qualifying on the center lane. Alexis was one of these that would de-slot with ease in one of the tighter inside turns (blue)
