Θέμα: 341 Mira, munitions carried?

Hi all,

I know that 341Mira's primary mission is SEAD and for that they would carry the AGM-88 HARM, however would they carry anything else ie: AGM65, GBU38 JDAM, GBU12's?

Technically speaking, they could. Actually you won't see any setup with air2ground weapons on 341's aicrafts since this (attack) is the typical role of the other blk50 sqn ( 347, which also has its base in 111AB in Nea Aghialos ).

I partly disagree with you Yannis. 341 squadron is assigned with 3 roles. The primary role is air superiority. The secondary role is air-ground with conventional munitions, i.e. Mk-82, Mk-84, Mk-20. The special role is the SEAD with the AGM-88.

So you could build a model with air-ground stores. You will not see though any guided weapons.

However with the expected upgrade of the blk50 fleet there is no surprise to see JDAMs loaded on to the SEAD jets.
