Anthony watch this space, your new friends may have some interesting information to add for your on going project.

32άρι είναι ???? Μια χαρά το πάει...

Hi Yiannis, I joined as you can, nice to be around a few other Greek members, took me a few hours to figure how to work things cause everything is in Greek - you really need to get a English Translation;)
I am working slowly on my A-7, as I got tons of school work and the masking process is almost unbearable.
And for those wondering what my next project is, it is going to be the F-4E you see in my avatar. I got awesome pics from George Athanasiadis!
I'll keep you all posted!
Anthony.

Thanks, yes, it is Trumpeters 1/32 A-7E. Some fit problems with the kit, but a nice big one overall.

Thanks guys! I'll be sure to post my work here, as I can not do so anywhere else lol.
LAMPAKIAS, I am not from Toronto, but from Mississauga - close enough.
It is probably Square One, and I have been there many times :)
And, North Star Hobbies, that is also the LHS(local hobby shop) I go to, the only one in fact, everything else is to far, but recently there prices have gotten really high so I tend to stick to online shops.
Anyways, thanks for the comments, and I will keep you all updated!

Hi guys, I have not posted for a while - school, exams and a motorcycle took up most of my time, so I have been unable to work on the A-7 for a while but now that that is all out of the way I should be able to make some more progress, so next time I post, I am hoping she will be near completion and I will be able to work on the F-4 :D

Anthony Hi ::salut::Great Job and fantastic work,Please moooorrrrr.
From Nürnberg Tasos ::salut::
-
Thanks for the encouragement!
I am afraid I have some bad news...
I have messed up the paint job on th plane as well as the decals, and it has come to the point where the detail in the plastic is lost... I would try and strip the paint, but the problem is that the cockpit is still good so I am unsure what to do. I feel like just tossing it, and restarting...
On top of that, I find that I have not been able to model for a while because other interests have kept me busy.
I would really like to get back to building, maybe I can do some this weekend, but for now the A-7 is at a stalemate and I'll just work to get the other project off the bench.
Anthony.

Hi Anthony.
I think that you should not toss it away... Cover the cokcpit area, with masking tape, and spray the plane, with a kind of oven cleaning spray. Leave it in a plastic bag for approx. 24h, and then wash it with soap and toothbrush. If there is still paint on the surfaces, repeat the procedure... It will come back to its starting point, and you can start all over again without damaging the cockpit... ::icon_thumright::
