H νέα κυκλοφορία της Airfix στην "στρατιωτική" 1/48 είναι το οχηματάκι 4X4 "Duad Bike" (αν δεν κάνω λάθος, Yamaha Grizzly 450 4 x 4 ATV Quad Bike , είναι η πλήρης ονομασία του.
Δίνει δύο οχηματάκια και τέσσερις φιγούρες "πλήρωμα".
Γενικά είναι πολύ καλό σε λεπτομέρεια και εύκολο στην κατασκευή.

Γενικά όμορφο και εύκολο κιτ που αποτελεί μια καλή περίπτωση για κατασκευή ενός εύκολου μικρού σύγχρονου διοράματος, από Afghanistan.

Για να συμπληρώσει το προηγούμενο κιτ (αλλά και όλα τα άλλα σύγχρονα 48άρια στη νεα military σειρά της), η Airfix κυκλοφόρησε και ενα σετ με οκτώ(8) φιγούρες σύγχρονων Βρετανών στρατιωτών.

Πολύ καλό σετ, πρώτη φορά που κυκλοφορεί κατι ανάλογο στην 1/48 και πρωτη φορά σε πλαστικό ανεξαρτήτως κλίμακας (τελευταίοι  "σύγχρονοι" Βρεταννοί σε πλαστικό ήταν της Dragon, από τον Α' Πόλεμο του Κόλπου, στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του '90)

Το πλαστικό είναι μαλακό ή το κοινό πλαστικό των μοντέλων;

είναι
κοινό πλαστικό των μοντέλων
όπως λες, δηλαδή πολυστερίνη
όχι πολύ σκληρή
κολλάει κανονικά με Tamiya, Humbrol & MEK
πάντως δεν έχει την σήμανση <PS>
