Ενα από τα δημοφιλή πρωταθλήματα Proxy είναι το Vintage Race Across America με αυτοκίνητα Formula 1 1960-1965,1500κ.ε.(Halftoners).Κάποιοι από τους συμμετέχοντες σκέφτηκαν να αναβιώσουν
ένα πρωτάθλημα της ίδιας εποχής που γινότανε στην νεκρη σαιζόν της F1,το πρωτάθλημα Tasman που γινότανε στην Τασμανία,με αυτοκίνητα παρόμοια έτσι λοιπόν δημιουργηθηκε το Proxy Tasman Cup.
Το αυτοκίνητο μου είναι μια Ferrari Sharknose,πηγή προβλημάτων και απογοητεύσεων
Η καρότσα είναι Betta classic
Ξεκίνησε ως #3, για το Wolverhhampton Half Tonners Grand Prix του 2009 ,όπου έσπασε,σαν αποτελεσμα μιας τούμπας στο σημείο που το roll bar διαπερνά την καρότσα

Χρειαζόμουνα ένα αυτοκίνητο για το VRAA 2011 έτσι προσέθεσα λεπτομέριες στις αναρτήσεις και προσπάθησα να το αποχρωματίσω μέσα σε οινόπνευμα,μεγάλο λάθος.Γέμισε φουσκάλες τις οποίες έπρεπε να τρυπησω και γεμίσω.¨ηταν έτοιμο για τον αγώνα Wolverhhampton Half Tonners Grand Prix
του 2011 αλλά πριν καν ακουμπησει την πίστα το χρώμα ξεφλούδισε ενώ η εμπρός χαλκομανία "άνοιξε"


Ετσι έπρεπε να το ξεβάψω,με διαλυτικό αυτή την φορά,που όμως αφαίρεσε όλα τα γεμίσματα που είχα κάνει με μπλανκο.Ετσι έπρεπε να ξαναγίνουν.Να το αποτέλεσμα
Σασί(προδιαγραφές Halftonners,έκτοτε έχουν αλλάξει μοτέρ,γρανάζια και πίσω λάστιχα)

Εγιναν τα πρώτα ελεύθερα δοκιμαστικά,σύμφωνα με το φύλλο της τοπικής εφημερίδας Mercury,το δικό μου,#50 Ferrari, είναι ανάμεσα στα δύο που δεν έχουν φτάσει ακόμη ενώ ταχυδρομηθηκε στις 29-3

Hard to get laps right - incredible brakes. Noisy mesh. Very surprised at lap time. Locals will struggle to get the most out of it.

Nice and smooth. Wonder if braids are too thick - occassionally de-slots. Handles well but doesn''t take too much to overcook it.

Will be right up there.... Handles very nicely. Feel it could do with more weight over braids to ensure good contact - is very sensitive to how they are set.

3 wheel antics were interesting. It is surprisingly punchy and handles quite well. Body rocks quite a lot which might be hampering the times just a little.

Is lacking a little in development. Flattening the braids as much as I could helped. Spins back wheels quite a lot - like the front brakes are jammed on in a 1:1 car.

Και τα σχόλια του οργανωτή,φαίνεται το αυτοκίνητο είχε σοβαρά προβλήματα
Biedmatt- Ferrari 158: This car just did everything right. It didn''t feel as fast as some of the other faster cars but simply did the job. Just missed on breaking the 36 lap mark. Great little conveyance this one!
Mmmoose1-BRM Nice car Personally I found the motor a bit of a light switch in that it came on suddenly but once adjusted to it found it good to drive the other drivers spoke positively of it. The rear suspension detail brought favourable comments.
Slo1quick-Brabham BT4 Another nice little car. Once you got a rhythm going it just kept going around consistently.
Stig- Brabham BT3: Great little car It really hooked up in my heat and was a lot of fun to drive.
Stubbo- Brabham BT4: Nicely presented and built. It was nice to drive but slightly lacked some speed compared to teammate Slo1quicks car.
Bantoft- BRP:Nice little package this, one handled well but seemed to lack some motor speed. Raced well
Munter-Brabham BT3: as above, was popular with the drivers.
Mike Akers- Porsche 804: Another nice car to drive but just lacked the speed of the cars further up the order.
Boss 302- Cooper: Felt lethargic. You had to work to keep the speed up but once going it kept turning laps. A couple of de-slots caused trying to keep up the pace.
Old 23- Cooper: It took a bit of time to adapt to the brakes on this car. I got to grips with this and found it nice to drive which resulted in some good laps in my heat.
RIR-Porsche 804: A nice consistent car but had a couple of de-slots in a hard to reach spot in heat 4 that cost it a good result.
Phil Kalbfell-Cooper: This was a typical Phil car, well put together but it felt heavy to drive and was poor under brakes due to the weight. This was telling in the race as there are two points on my track that require good brakes. Unfortunately the driver in Heat 4 took some time to get a handle on the car.
SlotsNZ- Cooper: Nicly turned out car but was just plain slow.Chenglaw-BRM This car was a bit unpredictable. The brakes weren''t great and on different occasions would get a lot of acceleration onto the back straight which meant a straight on moment at the end.
Ferrari 1950- Ferguson P99: Another great car that I expected to do well. The TRSF guide allowed the car to slide out along way and get stuck at 90degrees to the slot. I believe this was pulling on the right hand lead wire which ultimately pulled out of the guide. we got it going in time to complete the final heat. It was a real shame as the car was looking at a good result.
Alexis in Greece. This car hada couple of issues. It would deslot unpredictably and was hard to reslot ata couple of points around the track especially on the inside lane at the hairpin this cost it a couple of laps. The chassis set up I think affected the handling. The centre pivot allowed the car to flop around in corners. I reckon some torsion bars would have limited this and would have reduced the number of de-slots. The motor had plenty of speed though. The pilot bailed out at one point in the race and then the windscreen blew off and got tangled up in the rear end. I will fix all this before sending on the cars
Mnewns Ferguson P99: The poor old Fergy wasn''t happy here at all It just wouldn''t go round left hand turns of which there are only 2 one being the hairpin. The front axle set up appears to be twisted which means that the right front wheel is not sitting on the track, so when it goes in to left handers it''s tipping over. The front motor layout wouldn''t have helped this.I tried to twist it back but the way the car is built didn''t allow this to happen. I wasn''t keen to twist it too much in case I broke the chassis. In the end I added some lead ballast to the bottom of the chassis under the rear axle, which alleviated the problem slightly but didn''t fix it.

1 #3 Slo1 3.184 -consistent runner crashes when pushed.
2 #8 Ken 3.185 - seems to have a power band which makes it a handful.
3 #12 Mike 3.248 -good pick up tends to tip, good quiet runner
4 #26 Matt 3.249 -is quick but a bit unforgiving, tips before it slides.
5 #4 Phil 3.289 -consistent car needs a bit more grip.
6 #47 Boss 302 3.289 -Spritely car nice to drive and nice to drift, stayed in the slot Geoghegan would love it.
7 #2 Stubbo 3.297 - could use more grip, can get into a good rhythm.
8 #69 Marek 3.343 -good car hangs on but can drift out too far and not get going again.
9 #7 Stew 3.350 -Nice car, smooth runner , tips easily.
10 #9 RIR 3.381 - Good car to drive has a lot grip.
11 #10 munter 3.400 -Good consistent runner, looked faster than it was, no deslots.
12 #17 Stig 3.405 -power slow to kick in lacks grip.
13 #18 Bantoff 3.467 - nice car to drive , stays in the slot but lacks some speed.
14 #6 Lim 3.577 - Nippy car has get up and go but no brakes.
15 #50 Alexis 3.601 - good speed , could use more grip on this surface , desloted easy.
16 #22 Mark 3.695 - very heavy car , a stable car to drive.
17 #13 Mike 3.822 - seemed to go alright but tipped easy on the corners.

#2 My car. It was quick but didn''t stay in the slot as well as other cars. More work to do.
#3 Slo1quick. Quick car. No deslots in either run for me but it had to be driven hard.
#4 Phil Kalbfell. A good car. Suited my style of driving. Nice drift out of the corners.
#6 Chenglaw. Quick in a straight line but not much in the way of brakes. Left the slot randomly.
#7 Old23. I just couldn''t get it to work. Very nice looking car though. Maybe it will do better on the bigger track next week.
#8 mmmoose1. Nice car and capable of some quick times. Not quite as good in the "reverse" direction compared to the other. For the second heat it just seemed to hook up Ok and ended up with the greatest distance and fast lap for that heat.
#9 RIR. Another car that I could not get to work as well as others. It looked like it was going really well but the end distance was disappointing.
#10 Munter. Nice car to drive. Not as quick as others. In my second heat it got to speed pretty quickly and stayed at the pace and ended up in the top 4 in that heat.
#12 Mike Ackers. The car qualified well but couldn''t sustain the times over the distance. I think the bigger track next week might help.
#13 Mnewnes. This car did not like turning left. It kept coming out of the slot easily.
#17 Stig. To me it was one of the better cars to drive in my first heat. As were most of the Tassie cars. I think they suit my style. Probably not as good in the other direction. Don''t know why.
#18 Bantoft. Pretty car. Ok in my first drive but just kept on keeping on in the second. It just did not leave the slot.
#22 SlotsNZ. Not a bad car to drive. Just a bit too heavy. Plenty of potential.
#26 Beidmatt. I just could not get this car to perform at its full potential. Hopefully it will do a lot better on the bigger track.
#47 Boss302. Typically Tasmanian and a good car to drive.
#50 Alexis. I had real trouble with this car. It seemed to have no grip and a real handful to drive.
#69 Ferrari1950. A pretty good car but every now and then the back would just step out in a big way which cost it a lot of time.

Δοκιμαστικά τα ίδια χάλια με τον προηγούμενο

Και ο αγώνας ακόμη χειρότερα,το χειρότερο αποτέλεσμα στο πρωτάθλημα\

Πρέπει να το πάρω απόφαση αυτός ο τύπος σασί δεν κάνει για proxy.Φαίνεται ότι παρ' όλο το locktite
το παξιμάδι λασκάρει με τον καιρό με συνέπειες στο στήσιμο του αυτοκινήτου

Και η τελική κατάταξη στο πρωτάθλημα

Και του χρόνου καλύτερα.
