Βασισμένο σε μεγάλο ποσοστό στο "απλό" Jeep της εταιρείας με προσθήκη των κομματιών για την θωράκιση, τις επιπλέον δεξαμενές καυσίμου, τον οπλισμό, κάποια φορτώματα κλπ.

Κάποια εποχή, κυκλοφορούσε με τον ίδιο κωδικό με ένα παράξενο (όχι απολύτως σωστό ιστορικά δηλαδή ...) κομμάτι (σαν χοντρή σήτα) στη μάσκα του ψυγείου (φωτό παρακάτω). Ήταν και στο γνωστό σκούρο πράσινο λαδί της Italeri, ενώ πολύ παλαιότερα (~1982, χωρίς υγρή κόλλα ....) ήταν σε πιο ανοικτό πρασινομπλέ πλαστικό.....

Τα προσφερόμενα όπλα δίνουν τη δυνατότητα με την βοήθεια της βιβλιογραφίας να γίνουν διάφοροι συνδυασμοί, από το "βαρέος τύπου" (με το αερόψυκτο Browning .50cal στον συνοδηγό και δίδυμο Vickers K πίσω) έως τα άλλα με πιο "ελαφρύ" οπλισμό (4, 3 ή 2 μόνο Vickers K), άρα και κάποιο Jeep του Ελληνικού "Ιερού Λόχου", με 3 μονά Vickers K.

(http://postimg.org/image/a66y5xexz/)Παλιό , μάλλον σπάνιο κιτ, από ρητίνη, στην ασυνήθιστη κλίμακα 1/15 (για να ταιριάζει με την "φιγουράδικη" των "120χιλ." που κάποτε ήταν στην μόδα) από την Frontline Miniatures.
Την εποχή του (πριν 19+ χρόνια) ήταν πολύ καλό, σήμερα μάλλον το λέμε καλό προς μέτριο.
Η ρητίνη του είναι σκληρή ενώ δίνει και κάποια λίγα κομμάτια σε λευκό μέταλλο.
Αρκετά απλοποιημένη λεπτομέρεια, χύτευση όχι καλή σε κάποια σημεία, θέλει μπόλικο καθάρισμα απο περίσσευμα (λογικό ...), εφαρμογή "φλού" σε κάποια σημεία και κάποιες λεπτομέρειες δεν έχουν αποτυπωθεί σωστά (πχ. τα κάνιστρα και οι τροχοί είναι οριακά πιο "λεπτά" από όσο θα έπρεπε για την κλίμακα).
Επίσης, κατά την πάγια τακτική της εποχής, δίνει ΦΠ, rod και φύλλο μετάλλου (μπρούτζο) για να φτιαχτούν κάποια κομμάτια (!)
Οι οδηγίες είναι απο χειροποίητα σκίτσα και καλό θα είναι να υπάρχει βοήθεια φωτογραφιών του πραγματικού (ή ...καλή γνωση του αντικειμένου "Τζιπ")...
Από την άλλη, ως κιτ και παρά τη μεγάλη κλίμακα δίνει πλήρη φορτώματα, πλήρη οπλισμό (αν και για τη "βαρεός τύπου" διαμόρφωση, με ένα Browning .50cal, δύο Vickers-K και ένα Bren) καθώς και ένα οδηγό (καθιστό, η όρθια φιγούρα δινόταν χωριστά ...).
Με λίγη προσοχή και μπόλικη δουλίτσα, θα δώσει πιστεύω ένα εντυπωσιακό λόγω μεγέθους και θέματος αποτέλεσμα.

::arrowred:: αφ' ενός, πολύ όμορφο το εικονιζόμενο και δεν το είχα δει (ισως να το έχω δει αλλά δεν θυμάμαι, συγγνώμη ...). οι εστορες σου είναι μάλλον ...λαθος (λογω βάρους δεν χρησιμοποιούσαν αυτούς), όπως επίσης και τα όπλα (δεν χρησιμοποιούσαν τα Browning .30cal .... μαλλον τα μπερδεψες με τα αερόψυκτα αεροπορικού τύπου Browning .50cal)

Η εκδοχή της Dragon για το τζιπάκι του SAS, βασισμένο (φυσικά) στο υποτίθεται περιορισμένης κυκλοφορίας κιτ της CyberHobby. Εννοείται πως έχει διορθώσει τα περισσότερα από τα σφάλματα του αρχικού και επιπλέον το έχει εμπλουτίσει με μπόλικα "καλούδια".

Το σετ έχει καλή λεπτομέρεια λαμβάνοντας υπ' όψιν τα χρονάκια του. Δίνονται και σήματα. Για να γίνει ιστορικά σωστό θα χρειαστεί βοήθεια από φωτό πραγματικών οχημάτων SAS/LRDG κυρίως σε ότι αφορά στη διαμόρφωση του οπλισμού.
Απ όσο γνωρίζω και μέχρι να βγάλει η Dragon τα δικά της, είναι τα μονα SAS/LRDG οχήματα που υπάρχουν στην 1/72-1/76.

Θα μπορούσε να έχει άλλες φιγούρες - πλήρωμα και όχι ...όρθιες κι ετοιματζήδικες και φυσικά ..φορτώματα !
Δε μπορώ συνεπώς ..."χαλάλι" το 30λιρο που έδωσα .....

αρα εδώ μάλλον είμαστε φθηνότεροι !!
Προσοχή, αναφέρομαι στη σύγκριση των τιμών, διαφορετικά είναι γεγονός ότι
είναι ΠΑΝΑΚΡΙΒΑ για το μέγεθός τους και για όσα προσφέρουν !!!
Προσωπικά, στην ζώνη τιμής των 35 ευρώ - όσο πωλείται εδώ και το νεό Jeep της Bronco - περίμενα περισσότερα και έχω πλέον εναποθέσει τις ελπίδες μου στον ...Κινέζο για να βγάλει ένα νέο, χορταστικό σε φορτώματα, αξεσουάρ κλπ. κιτ του SAS Jeep .....
