Sorry but another question with regards to the F-4E AUP,
What colour are the Centre line Drop tanks (F-15 Type), are they overall Grey or "Ghost" camo? All the pictures I have the tank is in the shadow of the fuselage so is hard to tell.
Also does anyone have a good photograph of the area of the Inboard Wing Slats when deployed forward.
Many thanks
Scott

Cheers guys ::salut:: The photos showing the undersides, is that not one of the original 600ltr tanks?
And a final question... what colour is the insides of the airbrakes on the underside of the wings
-
Nope, they are the "High performance" tanks alright.
As for the speed brakes, it's gloss red for the inside of the moving parts and the actuator cylinder. The wing surface under the speed brakes is painted with the same gray as the speed brakes themselves.
-
Cheers for that, would any camo/demarcation lines be continued from the Wing surface or would it just a single Grey colour on the inside surface?
-
I can't remember any demarcation lines under the speed brakes and trust me, I've seen them all.
But then again, it's no secret I've been wrong before
