this website: http://www.aeroflight.co.uk/waf/cyprus/af/cypaf-not-used.htm
claims that the Hellenic Army lent Cyprus, some Hughes-369, and later some MD-500.
i have no idea where they're getting their info.
sounds wrong to me.
Does anyone know if the Hellenic Army, had any of these helicopters to give to Cyprus????

According to my (limited) knowledge of the types operated by Hellenic Army Aviation, those types were never operated by Hellenic Army Aviation, therefore the information is wrong.
I vaguely recall an article, several years ago, that Cyprus wanted to by new helicopters and MD-500 was one of the types mentioned, but they were supposed to be bought directly from Cyprus, without any involvement of the Hellenic Army. Besides that, no helicopters were purchased at that time (if memory serves right)

The article is wrong no such helicopters were ever operated by Cyprus: just Bells, Gazzeles, and Hinds

I got a response from Aeroflight.co.uk, and it seems their sources for this are not reliable.
so it seems no H-369 and no MD-500 were ever used by Hellas or Cyprus..
