Θέμα: F-5A Hellenic AF ( PM Model 1/72 )

[Foxbat11]

Hello guys !

My first post here, on this forum. I wanted to join this forum earlier but some problems occurred during registration. Now, when everything is fixed, I want to share few pictures of this F-5A. PM kit is very bad, no detail of any kind, just few pieces and that's it. But I wanted to build this aircraft so bad that I managed to make it look decent. Italeri/ESCI is not available anywhere so this was my best option. Decals are home-made, quality is not at the top but building this kit for my soul makes it good enough for me. Next time, Icarus Decals will be the option, best one.

As a big HAF fan, you can expect some more work and pictures of progress, for sure !

All the best, greetings from Serbia !

And some details from the cockpit while I was working on it...

Excellent work! the cockpit is very impressive indeed!

[Zark]

Great work...construction and painting of high standards!...Just one thing looks strange...is it too shiny, maybe it needed to be more "mat"?...Just my humble opinion.

[nosdio]

Very nice work for such a low quality kit.

The Ugly Duckling Becoming a Swan.... what else can I say?

The cockpit is awesome!!!

I am wishing you all the best (and some EscItaleri's F-5 too!  )

Excellent work on this very bad kit!!
I'm a huge fan of low quality kits, so this effort is really really great to my eyes!!

Best regards,
