What type of ejection seat is used on the Hellenic M2000-5, is it the Martin Baker Mk10L or Mk10Q?

 The seat looks a strange colour Greenish/Grey, I thought they were Black same as the rest of the cockpit?

No they aren't black, both in the old Mirage 2000 E/BGMs and in the new -5s. I don't remember though the exact FS code!!!

I would probably be looking at FS 36176, which is also known as Dark Sea Grey/Ocean Grey/ Dark Grey F15, depending on which brand you use.

Mmmmm,  that seat isn't the same as the ones I've seen in the single seaters either the C or -5. That looks like the front seat found on the two seat B/D/N versions with the canopy breakers.

I notice Wolfpack designs do a set with both types of seat but which is which?

Both types are used by HAF Mirages, but i'm not sure if they are the same version with slight difference between canopy breakers, as on two seat versions, the front seat stands lower and breakers are bigger. So i guess, same type like the back seat is also used on the single seater.

To settle the discussion I wrote to Martin Baker asking for clarification on the seat.

The answer I got back

"It's an F10Q seat. It's painted dark grey to current spec BS5381-623"


I take it the "623" is a typing error as it doesn't exist and it should read "632" which is Dark Admiralty Grey, unfortunately no model paint brand make it, so colour matching is needed.
