Παίδες για πείτε ιδέες για τον άνθρωπο διότι είμαι σκράπας από μοντέρνα θέματα. Αν μπορείτε στα αγγλικά για να διαβάζει:

Well, I've pretty much established that I can't use my Hasegawa 1/48th F-4EJ to do a Greek F-4E. So, which Hasegawa F-4E version do I need to get? I want to do the Aegean Blue scheme. I think I've got some spare Monogram F-4J ECM intake fairings I can use, so that isn't an issue for me.

Any suggestions?

Since this isn't a project I'll be doing anytime soon, I'm holding off on aftermarket bits, but I figure at the least I'll need a good cockpit for it. Any suggestions on currently available sets?

The best choice is the Hasegawa F-4E "30th ANNIVERSARY" Kit No 07208
but 3 changes are needed for the Aegean Blue Phantom
1. you have to remove the small boxes from the upper wings surfaces, 
    they are used only for the USN types.
2. add the antennas of the DIAS system on both intakes and
3. the reverse elevator fins
    the last two ones are given with the revell F-4E kit (check it i am not sure )

on the second photo you can see the DIAS antennas they are like the A-7 corsair pitot tubes.

A very good resin cocpit set is the Aires No 4126 F-4E/F cocpit set for hasegawa.

Εμπιστεύομαι τις γνώσεις σου για τα κιτ γιατί εγώ δεν είμαι μοντελιστής. Απλά μάλλον για να είναι πιο πλήρης η απάντηση θα πρέπει να του επισημανθεί ότι στο σύστημα αυτοπροστασίας περιλαμβάνονται και άλλες έξτρα "κεραίες" που πρέπει να προσθέσει στην κάτω μεριά του κώνου του ραντάρ, δεξιά και αριστερά από τον κώνο του αλεξιπτώτου και στην κορυφή του κάθετου σταθερού. Δεν ξέρω τι από αυτά μπορεί να έχει το κιτ που αναφέρεις, αλλά δύσκολο να τα έχει όλα. Μπορεί βέβαια να γλιτώσει όλο αυτό τον κόπο αν απλά διαλέξει κάποιο serial που δεν είχε σύστημα ΔΙΑΣ (π.χ. 01504, 01514, 01526 κλπ.). Προσοχή βέβαια να μη διαλέξει κάποιο από τα 7-άρια που βάφτηκαν με Aegean Blue γιατί τότε έχει έξτρα δουλειά αφού παρόλο που δεν είχαν σύστημα ΔΙΑΣ, πρέπει να προσθέσει το TISEO. Sorry, που γράφω την άποψή μου στα ελληνικά, αλλά επειδή όπως είπα δεν είμαι μοντελιστής, αυτή πρέπει να φιλτραριστεί από κάποιον που έχει γνώσεις για τα διάφορα κιτ πριν σταλεί στον ενδιαφερόμενο.

You also have to add the antenna of the DIAS system at the bottom of the radome infront of the M61 cannon and the second one on parachute housing door. Now if you want to build a machine from s/n 71743 to 71760 you have to install the TISEO on the left wing's slat.
For the blue camo scheme I suggest you Xcolor's X377 Bleu de Mirage and Humbrol's 191 for underside surfaces.

WARNING: The F-4J ECM fairings are shorter than those on Greek F-4s. Try to find fairings from F-4Ns which are the correct ones or just build a plane without them...

Fisherman said phantoms with serials 01504, 01514, 01526 didnt have the DIAS system
The other differences were mentioned by Double Ugly.
So you must decide first wich serial you want to build.

And of course when you start we wait some pictures of it

On these great shots posted by mmaker, you have to notice that in upgraded F-4E's (like the one in the photos) the front antenna of DIAS system is relocated under the gun and not at the radar cone as in the Aegean Blue Phantom that you intend to built. Take a look on this shot of an Aegean Blue Phantom and compare it to mmaker's shots to better understand what I mean (it's not a close up shot but you can see the difference):

Forgot it that the AUP Phantoms had relocated the front antennas under the gun cover,because of the new smaller cone of the APG-65 radar...

Hi,
As for the intake ECM antennae, you 'could' use the F-4J/F-4S antennas, but with certain modifications. You 'd have to cut off the rear end, insert an appropriate piece of styrene (you could use Evergreen semi-circular styrene of similar 'diameter' -actually half of the diameter- ) and reinsert the rear end. Your antenna should have a length close to the one of Hasegawa's intake piece as the antennae rear end stop just 1-1.5 mm from the panel line that is located at the join of the intake piece and the rest of Hasegawa's canopy. I wish I could illustrate this graphically, but I hope my text will be of assistance.
In fact, I want to do the same on an F-4 AUP I've got in schedule, as the F-4J/F-4S antennae are more in-scale than the small F-4B/N pieces. HTH
