HISTORY - ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ1. Mid November 1940 , she participated at the first invasion at Otrando channel with the destroyers "V.Olga" , "P.Kountouriotis", "Psara" , "Idra" .
2. On 10th January 1941 she participated again at the 2rd and last invasion with the destroyers "V.Olga" , "Spetses" , "Psara" , "P.kountouriotis" , "Idra" .
3. When the Germans entered in Athens she bombarded in Saronikos by airplanes , suffering severe destruction . She was transported in Salamina but she self-sunk by her crew to prevent the danger from capturing it , because of she was unable to follow the rest fleet in Alexandria . But the Germans repaired and used it for escort duties . She took the name "Hermes", She was finally sunk by submarine "Katsonis" on 14th of September 1943 .
HISTORY - ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΑ ΟΛΓΑ1. Mid November 1940 ,she participated at the first invasion at Otrando channel with the destroyers "V.Georgios" , "P.Kountouriotis" , "Psara" and "Idra" .
2. On 10th January 1941 she participated again at the 3rd and last invasion with the destroyers "V.Georgios" , "Spetses" , "Psara" , "P.Kountouriotis" ,which bombarded the Aulona harbour from sort distance.
3. At the 2nd semester of 1941 she participated in escort missions at Eastern Mediteranean and Red sea , going through 16,000 nm .
4. At the beggining of 1942 she received syncronization at the gunnery systems while obtained -at last-AntiSubmarine Weapon systems (A.S.W.) .
5. At the end of 1942 she went through 27,000 nmiles . On 15th of December sunk the Italian submarine "Uarchieck" and the Captain honored with the D.S.O. metal for saving the submarine crew .
6. On 11th of January 1943 sunk the Italian transport-ship "Stromboli" .
7. On 30th of May accompanied by the H.M.S. "Jervis" sunk 3 Italian ships and the escort vessel at the Spartivento Cape .
8. Then she participated at Sicily invasion , supporting the landing forces .
9. On 10th of September 1943 with the destroyer "ADRIAS" ordered by the British Vice-admiral as leaders of the flotilla which was in the surrendering of the Italian fleet in Taranta .
10. On 26th of September at 10.00 a.m. at least 24 stukas invaded consequently to cut in two and sunk by the bombs at Laki-harbour , Lero island. 71 men were killed .
Βέβαια τώρα βλέπω ότι το Β.Γ είχε πιο ενδιαφέρον βάψιμο. Πριν αρχίσω την ανακαυασκευή θα ήθελα να λύσω τα εξής:
α- το βάψιμο αυτότ ου Β.Γ είναι όντως πραγματικό; Δεν πιστεύω να είναι καμιά παραποιημένη φώτο!
β- κατάστρωμα: 127 Humbrol? Πλαινά: ?
έχω βρει και την παρακάτω φώτο (δε θυμάμαι ποιος το κατασκεύασε): Μεγάλο μέρος του καταστρώματος των GREHOUND ήταν ξύλινο?
